Mountain Chickadee by Constance Puttkemery. The tiny Mountain Chickadee is a busy presence overhead in the dry evergreen forests of the mountainous West. Mountain Chickadees flit through high branches, hang upside down to pluck insects or seeds from cones, and give their scolding chick-a-dee call seemingly to anyone who will listen.

Constance retired from the financial services arena when she moved to northwest Montana in 2009. She has traveled extensively throughout North & South America, Asia, Europe and has lived in India. Her passion for photography was inspired by the beautiful and fascinating places she has visited. Living in Montana has brought her back to nature. Constance has a passion for nature & wildlife, especially birds and hopes that you enjoy viewing her images as much as she enjoyed capturing them.
